I co-founded V1CE. Here is why I tested HiHello and every serious alternative.
HiHello has one genuinely outstanding quality: it is the fastest digital business card platform I have ever set up. Under two minutes from download to a working card. No hardware decisions, no design choices, no subscription required to get started. For a lot of people, that is exactly what they need.
The problem is what comes after. HiHello stops at the card. The contact lands in your phone and nothing else happens. No follow-up fires. No booking link goes out. No one gets added to a CRM automatically. If you are networking to win clients, the card is only the beginning. I tested 12 alternatives to HiHello to find out which ones go further, and I am publishing the full results here.
How I scored each platform
First impression
Does the card look professional the moment someone opens it? Does it represent your brand before they read a word?
Contact saved with one tap
How many steps does it take for the other person to save your contact? Friction here is where contacts get lost.
What happens after the tap
Does anything fire automatically after contact is made? Follow-up, booking, CRM entry? This is where most platforms fail.
NFC, QR, and wallet reliability
Does the NFC hardware work on the first tap? Does the wallet pass update when your profile changes?
CRM and tool integrations
How deeply does the platform connect to the tools sales and marketing teams actually use?
Analytics clarity
Can you see who opened your page, when, and what they clicked, without needing a data analyst?
Privacy and GDPR
Is the platform GDPR compliant? Does it handle contact data responsibly?
Value at entry level
What does the free or cheapest paid plan actually give you? Is it useful or is it a demo?
HiHello alternatives at a glance: the master ranking
After testing 11 platforms, V1CE is the only one that takes you from the handshake to the invoice in one connected system. Blinq is the strongest software-only option for enterprise teams. HiHello wins for the easiest no-demo setup and free-tier flexibility.

Try the platform that starts where HiHello stops
Free NFC card with your 30-day trial. Automated follow-ups. Built-in booking. No credit card required.
I am not being harsh when I say HiHello is a great card app that was not built to do anything after the card. Every limitation I list below is by design. The issue is not that HiHello is bad at what it does. The issue is that what it does is not enough once you are networking to win clients.
The free plan scan limit catches you at events
HiHello free plan caps how many contacts you can capture by scan. At a busy networking event or conference, you can hit the limit inside an hour. Upgrading to Professional fixes it, but the principle stands: the most useful moment for a digital card is the moment HiHello free plan is least useful.
No NFC hardware on any plan at any price
HiHello is digital-only on every plan. There is no NFC card option, no NFC sticker, no physical product. If the person you are meeting does not have their phone out or their camera ready, sharing requires extra steps. The platforms ranked above HiHello give you the option of a physical card that works without the other person doing anything.
Google Wallet is limited or unavailable on several plans
HiHello supports Apple Wallet on most plans, but Google Wallet coverage is inconsistent. For a networking tool, one missing wallet type is a meaningful gap. Roughly half of smartphone users in most English-speaking markets are on Android.
No AI features anywhere in the product
HiHello has no AI notetaker, no contact enrichment, no pre-event intelligence. If you are networking at scale, every conversation you have needs to produce a contact record and a follow-up. HiHello leaves that entirely to you. Blinq Premium, Popl, and V1CE all offer AI-backed capture.
No automated follow-up, even on Business plans
Once a contact fills your HiHello form or saves your page, nothing fires automatically. The follow-up has to come from you, manually, within 24 hours, before the context fades. At a typical event where you meet 15 to 30 people, manual follow-up on the same day is a significant time commitment. V1CE sends it in your voice without you touching anything.
HiHello limitation
What it means in practice
Platform that solves it
Scan limit on free plan
Cap on contact capture at events, exactly when you need it most
Every post-meeting follow-up requires manual action same day
V1CE CCOS, only platform with native automated follow-up built in
No booking integration
The path from page to meeting requires switching to another tool
V1CE CCOS includes built-in booking, no Calendly subscription needed
1. V1CE: 9.8 / 10. Best HiHello Alternative Overall
V1CE is not just a better digital card than HiHello. It is a fundamentally different category of product. HiHello gives you a card. V1CE gives you a system that runs from the handshake to the signed agreement and the invoice, all in one dashboard, all built in, nothing to integrate.

Automated follow-ups in your voice
Set a follow-up once. It fires every time someone fills your form, taps your card, makes a booking, or signs an agreement. HiHello has nothing like this.
Scout AI: pre-event intelligence
Research who is attending an event before you go. Know the companies, the roles, who to target. No other platform on this list has this.

2. Blinq: 8.0 / 10. Best HiHello Alternative for AI Features
If the main reason you are leaving HiHello is the lack of AI, Blinq is the most direct upgrade. The AI notetaker records a voice note after a conversation, extracts key information, and surfaces follow-up actions. The AI enrichment fills in the contact record with email, company, and LinkedIn. Neither of these exists anywhere in HiHello.

3. Popl: 7.5 / 10. Best HiHello Alternative for Event Teams
Popl started as an individual digital card app and evolved into a serious enterprise event platform. It ranks third because of one feature no other platform matches: the Universal Badge Scanner, which reads encrypted event badges that standard cameras cannot. If your team runs trade shows, Popl is worth a demo.

4. Mobilo: 7.5 / 10. Best HiHello Alternative for Sales Teams with CRM Workflows
Mobilo is the most serious CRM-first digital card platform on this list. Every tap from a Mobilo card lands in Salesforce or HubSpot in real time, not via a manual export or a delayed sync. For a sales team where every contact needs to be in the CRM the moment the tap happens, Mobilo is the right platform.

Dot Cards is the most design-forward physical card on this list. Carbon, wood, metal, specialty finishes, the range is the widest tested. 9. Wave Connect: 6.3 / 10. Basic Free Alternative at a Similar Level to HiHello
Wave Connect is the most direct comparison to HiHello in terms of what you get: a digital card, a QR code, and a contact capture form, all free. It ranks below HiHello because the free plan has fewer polish details and the paid tier is harder to justify given what Blinq or V1CE offer at similar price points. That said, for a simple free card with no scan limit, Wave Connect delivers.

10. CamCard: 6.0 / 10. Best HiHello Alternative for Paper Card Scanning
CamCard is a legacy platform built around one core use case: scanning paper business cards with the highest OCR accuracy available. If you receive a lot of paper cards and need a dedicated scanner with CRM export, CamCard is still the best at that specific task. As a digital card platform to replace HiHello, it is not the right tool. The profile is dated, there is no wallet pass, and the networking features are minimal.

11. Lynkle: 5.5 / 10. Link-in-Bio Tool, Not a Networking System
Lynkle shows up in searches for digital card platforms because it lives in the same product category search results. It is not a professional networking platform. It is a link-in-bio tool, closer to Linktree than to HiHello, Blinq, or V1CE. There is no contact capture, no CRM, no wallet pass, and no NFC hardware. I am listing it for completeness because it appears in comparison searches, not because I recommend it as a HiHello alternative.

The one thing no other platform on this list has: the Client Capture OS
Every platform in this comparison gets the contact into a phone or a CRM. That is useful. The problem is what happens next. The follow-up does not send itself. The booking does not get made. The warm lead from the conversation cools while you are travelling home from the event.
HiHello is a particularly clear example of this gap. The contact arrives and then nothing happens, no follow-up, no enrichment, no CRM entry unless you export it manually. The platform stops at the card.
What V1CE built is what I call the Client Capture OS: a connected chain from the handshake to the invoice. Not five separate apps held together with Zapier. One system.
Here is how the chain works. Your contact capture form feeds your Contacts. V1CE built-in networking CRM. Contacts update automatically the moment someone fills your form. Your Contacts trigger your follow-ups: automated, sent in your voice, on a schedule you set once. Your follow-ups carry your booking link, so contacts can book while the conversation is still fresh. Your bookings lead to agreements you e-sign from the same dashboard. Your signed agreements lead to services you sell and get paid for, at 0% transaction fee, from the same dashboard.
On top of that: Campaigns tags every contact with the event they came from, so you know which events bring clients. Check-ins keep warm contacts warm. Scout researches who is attending an event before you go.

Hardware through individual app; enterprise is software-only
Yes. HiHello free plan gives you one digital business card, Apple Wallet, an email signature, and virtual backgrounds with no time limit. The catch is the contact capture scan limit on the free plan. You can share your card with anyone, but how many inbound contacts you can capture by scanning is capped. Upgrading to Professional (~$5/mo annually) removes the scan limit and adds more cards and analytics.
Why does HiHello not have an NFC card?
HiHello is a software-only company and has never offered NFC hardware. This is a deliberate product decision. If you want an NFC card, you need a different platform. V1CE includes a premium NFC card free with the 30-day CCOS trial. Tapni includes a card in the annual plan at $49.90/year. Mobilo, Dot Cards, and Linq all offer physical NFC cards purchased separately.
Does HiHello work with Google Wallet?
HiHello Google Wallet support is inconsistent across plans. Apple Wallet is available on most plans. Google Wallet support varies. If Google Wallet is important, roughly half of smartphone users in most markets are on Android, check HiHello current plan details carefully, or choose a platform with confirmed full coverage such as V1CE, Blinq, or Popl.
What is the best free alternative to HiHello?
V1CE free plan is the most complete of any alternative: unlimited pages, the full design layer, contact capture form, Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, email signature, and virtual backgrounds with no monthly fee and no scan limit. Blinq free is a strong second: two cards, both wallets, email signature, and virtual backgrounds with no scan cap (AI features require paid tier). Uniqode offers a single free card with no expiry.
Does HiHello have AI features?
No. HiHello has no AI notetaker, no AI contact enrichment, and no pre-event intelligence on any plan. Blinq Premium ($7.33/mo annually) is the most direct AI upgrade from HiHello, with an AI notetaker that records your post-conversation voice note and extracts contact details and follow-up actions. V1CE CCOS adds Scout AI for pre-event research and an AI Next Action List in the Contacts CRM.
What does V1CE have that HiHello does not?
V1CE has: a physical NFC card (free with 30-day CCOS trial); automated follow-ups that fire in your voice after someone fills your form; a built-in booking link that replaces Calendly; built-in e-signatures (Agreements) that replace DocuSign; built-in payment processing at 0% transaction fees; Scout AI that researches event attendees before you go; Campaigns that attributes every contact to the event where you met them; and Google Wallet free on the basic plan. All in one dashboard.
Can I import my HiHello contacts into another platform?
Yes. HiHello Professional allows you to export your contacts as a CSV. That CSV can be imported into V1CE Contacts dashboard, Blinq, Mobilo, or any CRM. Most platforms support CSV import as a standard onboarding step.
How does HiHello compare to Blinq?
Both are software-only digital card platforms with a strong free tier and no NFC hardware. HiHello wins on setup speed, nothing sets up faster. Blinq wins on almost everything else: two cards on free (vs one), both wallets reliably (vs inconsistent Google), AI features on Premium, higher scan caps, and better team admin on Business. Blinq is the most direct individual upgrade from HiHello.
Is HiHello good for teams?
HiHello Business plan has solid team admin: templated cards, field control, SSO, SCIM, and CRM integrations on higher tiers. The main limitations for teams are the scan limit on lower plans (frustrating at events), the absence of AI features, and the lack of automated follow-up at any tier. For teams that primarily need consistent branded cards and light CRM integration, HiHello Business works. For teams that network at events or need automated follow-up, the platform will not cover you.
Which HiHello alternative is best for solopreneurs and consultants?
V1CE is my first recommendation. The free plan is the most complete of any alternative with no scan limit and no demo required. The Client Capture OS at $49.99/mo is the only tool that takes you from the contact capture to the signed agreement and the payment without leaving the dashboard. For a disciplined individual who follows up manually, Blinq at $7.33/mo annually is the best direct AI upgrade. For someone who wants a physical card included with the least friction, Tapni at $49.90/year is the cleanest all-in deal.
What is the Client Capture OS?
The Client Capture OS is V1CE connected networking system. Contact capture feeds Contacts, the built-in CRM. Contacts trigger automated follow-ups in your voice. Follow-ups carry a built-in booking link. Bookings lead to e-signed agreements. Agreements lead to services and payments, all from the same dashboard at 0% transaction fee. It is the only platform on this list that handles the full journey from handshake to invoice in one place.
Do digital business cards work without the other person having an app?
Yes. Every platform on this list works without the other person installing anything. They tap your NFC card or accessory, scan your QR code, or click your link, and your page opens in their browser. They save your contact with one tap. Their details land on your side automatically if you are using a platform with contact capture, such as V1CE or Blinq Business.
Why is HiHello ranked below Blinq in this comparison?
Blinq outscores HiHello because: it gives two cards on the free tier vs one; it has both Apple and Google Wallet reliably vs inconsistent Google Wallet on HiHello; it offers AI features (notetaker, enrichment, universal scanner) on Premium that have no equivalent in HiHello; and its Business plan has more mature team admin with 20+ native CRM integrations. HiHello wins on setup speed. On everything else, Blinq delivers more.
My final verdict: what I would choose in 2026
I have tested all eleven. Here is what I would pick for each situation.
For the professional who networks to win clients and wants the contact, follow-up, booking, and close in one platform: V1CE. The free plan is the most complete of any alternative. The CCOS at $49.99/mo is the only tool here that handles the full chain without switching apps.
For the HiHello user whose main frustration is no AI after conversations: Blinq Premium at $7.33/mo annually. The AI notetaker and enrichment are the most direct upgrade from where HiHello stops.
For the professional who wants a physical NFC card included in the annual fee with the least friction: Tapni at $49.90/year. Card shipped with the plan. Flat annual fee. Done.
For the sales team where CRM integration is the top priority: Mobilo. Real-time Salesforce and HubSpot sync, four card modes, team analytics, and no scan limits.
For the event-heavy team that needs the best badge scanner: Popl. The Universal Badge Scanner and AI enrichment are the strongest on this list for pure trade show lead capture volume.
For the enterprise team that needs HIPAA in addition to SOC 2: Uniqode. The only platform on this list that delivers SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO, and Microsoft Entra in a single dashboard.
For the HiHello user who just needs a clean card, follows up manually every time, and does not attend events where the scan limit bites: stay on HiHello. If the platform covers your actual workflow, switching costs are not worth it.
For everyone else: start with the V1CE free plan. It gives you everything HiHello free gives you, more cards, no scan limit, Google Wallet, and a contact capture form with no scan ceiling. Try it for a week. If the follow-up system earns its keep, the CCOS trial is the logical next step, and the NFC card ships with it.
