7 Best LinkedIn QR Code Generators in 2026 (Free Options First)

Here is what a LinkedIn QR code actually does. Someone scans it, it opens your LinkedIn profile, and they may or may not send a connection request. After that you have no idea who scanned, when, or whether they followed through. That is the honest state of most LinkedIn QR code tools in 2026.

I tested seven of them. This is what I found.

Why I can be trusted to rank these

Let me be straight with you before you read another word. I co-founded V1CE, which is the tool ranked first on this list. I am not a neutral reviewer and I am not going to pretend otherwise.

What I can tell you is that I created accounts on every tool here, generated real QR codes, and tested the full scan-to-contact experience on multiple phones. V1CE earns its position because it does something the others do not: it captures contacts automatically and sends a follow-up without you doing anything. If that is not what you need, I will point you to something else.

And here is the proof that does not come from me:

  • 500,000+ professionals now carry a V1CE card including professionals at Space X, Google, Emirates and more.
  • 4.82 on Trustpilot from over 1,000 reviews, and 4.86 on Loox from over 2,500.
  • Featured In Forbes, Business Insider, G2, Product Hunt, and TechRadar.

I am not asking you to take my word for any of it. The reviews are public, the scores are public, and the honest cons are right there in each section below.

The selection process: what I scored

Every tool was scored on eight criteria: free plan quality, static vs dynamic (can you update after printing?), what happens after the scan, scan tracking and analytics, design and customisation, whether the scanner needs an app, contact capture capability, and follow-up automation. The last two criteria are where most tools fail completely.

The honest ranking: all 7 tools at a glance

Our free version gives you what the others make you pay for

Every other dynamic QR tool on this list charges a monthly fee for scan tracking, contact capture, or analytics. V1CE gives you all three on the free plan. No credit card. No trial that converts. Just free.

1. V1CE: Best LinkedIn QR Code Generator Overall

What you get, in plain terms

Your V1CE digital page can be accessed directly by QR code. When someone scans it, they land on your page where they can save your contact details to their phone, tap to call, book a meeting, or follow you on LinkedIn. Every scan is tracked. If they submit their details, V1CE logs the contact, saves their information to your dashboard, and sends them your pre-written follow-up message automatically.

The part other tools do not have

Every other tool on this list produces a QR code that opens a page. V1CE shares your details and captures the contact. The person who scanned you gets an automatic message. You see their details in your dashboard without doing anything. That chain, meet, capture, follow up, is what turns a scan into a client rather than a forgotten connection.

Pros and cons

Automatic contact captureMore initial setup than a static generator
Follow-up message sends itself
Scan tracking and analytics
Works on any phone, no app needed
Apple and Google Wallet included

My experience with V1CE

I set up my V1CE profile in about four minutes. The QR code was ready immediately. I scanned it on three different phones (iPhone 14, Samsung Galaxy, and an older Android) and it worked on all of them without any app on the scanner's end. The contact submission took under ten seconds. The follow-up message arrived within a minute. I have been using V1CE at networking events for two years. The honest measure: I get "what is this?" from people who scan it more often than not.

My final review and thoughts on V1CE, 9.5

It is the only tool on this list that does something after the scan. If you go to one networking event a month and leave without following up half your conversations, V1CE is the fix. Start with the free plan. If it is not worth it, you have spent nothing.

2. LinkedIn Native QR: Best for Zero-Setup In-App Connections

image of linkedin QR codes

What you get, in plain terms

LinkedIn has a QR code built into the mobile app. Tap your profile photo, then the QR code icon in the top right corner. It generates a code that, when scanned, opens your LinkedIn profile and prompts the scanner to connect with you. No third-party tool required.

What it does not do

The code only works reliably if the scanner has LinkedIn open on their phone. There is no contact capture, no tracking, no analytics, and no way to print it reliably because it refreshes periodically. See our full guide on how LinkedIn QR codes work for a deeper breakdown.

Pros and cons

ProsCons
Zero setup, already in the appScanner needs LinkedIn app open
Directly connects on LinkedInCannot be printed reliably
FreeNo scan tracking or analytics
No contact capture or follow-up

My final review and thoughts on LinkedIn native QR, 7.5

It works well for face-to-face moments at networking events when both people already have LinkedIn open. Outside of that context it is awkward. If someone scans it and does not send a connection request in the moment, you have no record of the interaction at all.

3. Flowcode: Best for Branded, Design-Heavy QR Codes

Flowcode home page from website

What you get, in plain terms

Flowcode focuses heavily on QR code design. The free plan lets you create a static QR code with colour and shape customisation. You can match it to your brand colours, choose rounded or square corners, and embed your logo in the centre. The output looks noticeably better than a standard black and white generator.

The limitation: static on the free plan. If your LinkedIn URL changes, you have to generate a new code and reprint everything. Dynamic codes require a paid plan.

Flowcode pricing

Free for static QR codes with design features. Paid plans from approximately $14/month for dynamic codes with analytics.

Pros and cons

ProsCons
Best design quality on the free tierStatic on free plan
Logo embedding and colour matchingNo contact capture
Clean print outputNo follow-up automation

My final review and thoughts on Flowcode, 7.2

I created a Flowcode for my LinkedIn URL in about three minutes. The output was the best-looking QR code in this test. If visual quality on print materials matters and you do not need tracking or capture, it is a strong free option. But it stops at the scan. The analytics are basic and realistically, it is built for enterprise, you can see the image below of the ESPN flowcode to see how it's best used. For individuals networking I wouldn't recommend it, outside of the customisation it offers very little for prices similar to others in this list. The high score here is purely for the customisations.

4. Uniqode (Beaconstac): Best for Enterprise Teams

Uniqode website

What you get, in plain terms

Beaconstac, now rebranded as Uniqode, is an enterprise QR management platform. You get dynamic QR codes, scan analytics, bulk creation, and team management. For a company deploying LinkedIn QR codes across branded materials for hundreds of employees, it is genuinely well-built.

The catch: it is priced for enterprise. There is no meaningful free plan. Entry-level starts around $15/month per user. For a solo consultant or small team, the price is hard to justify when V1CE gives you dynamic QR and contact capture for free.

Pros and cons

ProsCons
Excellent bulk and team managementNo free dynamic plan
Strong analytics dashboardExpensive for individuals
Good enterprise integrationsNo contact capture or follow-up

My final review and thoughts on Beaconstac, 7.0

Uniqode is the go-to choice for large organizations that need structure, compliance, and insight. It’s not built for flashy personal cards, it’s designed for scalable, measurable digital identity management.

If you’re a company rolling out hundreds of cards or need to meet strict security requirements, this is the best platform available. It’s secure, data-driven, and highly customizable.

For small teams or solo users, the lack of a free plan might be a drawback. But for enterprises that value control, Uniqode leads the way in professional digital business card management.

5. Me-QR: Best Dynamic QR at the Lowest Paid Price

ME-QR website homepage

What you get, in plain terms

Me-QR is a dynamic QR code generator with a usable free tier. You can create a QR code pointing to your LinkedIn URL, track basic scan statistics (total scans, location, device type), and update the destination URL without reprinting. The free plan has scan limits, but for light personal use it is functional.

Where it falls short: no contact capture and no follow-up. It is a step up from a static generator but still stops at the scan.

Pros and cons

ProsCons

Basic scan tracking includedNo contact capture
Affordable paid planNo follow-up automation

My final review and thoughts on Me-QR, 6.8

creating a me-qr qr code

Setup took about two minutes and the QR code worked cleanly on every phone I tested. The analytics dashboard is basic but functional. For someone who just wants to know roughly how many people scanned their card and cannot justify a bigger tool, it is a cheap and simple option. Being able to make unlimited QR codes is good but you'd probably end up losing track of what you need and when. Not a bad tool but much better out there.

6. QR Code Generator: Best for One-Off Static QR, No Signup

QR code generator website homepage

What you get, in plain terms

qr-code-generator.com is the simplest tool on this list. Paste your LinkedIn URL, download your QR code. No account required. The output is a clean static QR code you can print anywhere in seconds.

It is completely static. No analytics, no updates, no tracking, no contact capture. If your LinkedIn URL ever changes, the QR code is dead.

Pros and cons

ProsCons
Instant, no signup requiredCompletely static
Prints cleanlyZero analytics or tracking
FreeNo contact capture

My final review and thoughts on QR Code Generator, 6.5

I generated a QR code in under thirty seconds. It scanned cleanly on every phone. That is honestly all there is to say. Use it for a one-off printed material where you will never need to update anything. For anything ongoing, use something dynamic. There's really not much more to say, it is absolutely fine, and that's about it.

7. Canva: Best for Embedding a QR Inside an Existing Design

Canva qr code feature homepage

What you get, in plain terms

Canva has a built-in QR code generator that lets you embed a QR code directly into your design: a business card template, a presentation slide, a banner. You paste your LinkedIn URL and the QR code appears as a design element you can size and position.

It is a design tool, not a QR platform. The QR code is static, there is no tracking, and there is no analytics. The value is purely in convenience: if you are already designing something in Canva and need a QR code in the layout, you do not need to leave the tool.

Canva pricing

Using QR codes is included in the free plan, the whole point of using Canva for QR codes is just to add it to existing designs for which you may want to get Canva Pro for £13/mo.

Pros and cons

ProsCons
No extra tool needed if you use CanvaStatic, cannot be updated
Integrates directly into design workflowNo tracking or analytics
FreeNo contact capture

My final review and thoughts on Canva, 6.5

The experience is entirely determined by whether you are already a Canva user. If you are, it is convenient. If you are not, there is no reason to sign up just for this when QR Code Generator does the same thing with less friction. I shouldn't need to tell you much about Canva it's a huge design platform, for adding your QR code to existing designs I really would recommend it. But other than that give it a swerve, it's as basic as basic comes for QR's.

Frequently asked questions

V1CE is the best overall option because it is the only tool that captures contact details and sends a follow-up automatically when someone scans your code. If you only need a static QR code for a one-off print job, QR Code Generator is the simplest free option with no signup required.

For quick in-person connections when both people have LinkedIn open, yes. For printed materials, events, or any situation where you want to know who scanned your code, no. LinkedIn's native QR cannot be printed reliably, has no tracking, and requires the scanner to have the app open and navigate to the scan function.

A static QR code encodes your LinkedIn URL directly. Once printed, it cannot be changed. A dynamic QR code redirects through a server you control, so you can update the destination without reprinting. Dynamic codes also support scan analytics. See our QR code business card guide for a full breakdown.

Yes. Download your V1CE QR code as a high-resolution PNG or SVG and add it to your card design before printing. Use a minimum size of 2.5cm x 2.5cm with strong contrast between the code and background. With a dynamic QR code, your printed cards stay valid even if your LinkedIn URL ever changes.

Yes, if the QR code links to a standard URL (as all tools on this list do). Any modern iPhone or Android can scan a QR code using the built-in camera app. No separate app is needed. LinkedIn's native QR code is the exception: the scanner must have the LinkedIn app open and navigate to the scan function manually.

Yes. V1CE and Me-QR both offer dynamic QR codes on their free plans. V1CE also includes contact capture and follow-up automation for free, which no other tool on this list includes at no cost. Me-QR's free tier has monthly scan limits; V1CE's does not.

LinkedIn's QR code opens your LinkedIn profile and prompts a connection request. V1CE's QR code opens your full digital profile, captures the contact's details, and sends them an automatic follow-up message. LinkedIn's code requires the scanner to have the app open. V1CE works on any phone with a camera, no app required on either side.

V1CE for teams under 50, where you want contact capture and follow-up automation alongside the QR code. Beaconstac for larger enterprise deployments that need bulk management, SSO, and compliance controls but do not require contact capture.

Final thoughts: what I would actually pick in 2026

Most LinkedIn QR code generators stop at the scan. You get a connection request if you are lucky, and nothing if you are not. The contacts you worked for at your last event sit in your LinkedIn requests with no follow-up, no context, and no system.

V1CE captures the contact and follows up automatically. Get your free digital business card and see how many conversations from your last event actually went somewhere.
